PLUNA terminated agreements with Aerolineas Argentinas

by Gaston Doval

As a backlash to the crisis created by the Secretary of Transportation, the company decided Pluna Uruguay terminate all agreements it had with Aerolineas Argentinas in Buenos Aires Airlift - Montevideo and Buenos Aires route - Punta del Este.

The airline's decision expresses the discomfort caused by the rejection, to its newly acquired subsidiary in Argentina, AeroVip, to requests for authorization to fly the route Trelew - Montevideo - San Pablo.

Breaking "relationship" means no more protection for passengers of the other endorsements or free as it used to be up early this week. For passengers, the breakdown of relations between the two airlines means that if a flight is canceled or another company can not be sent passengers flying companies in the other.
The PLUNA business plan, starting domestic flights in Chile and Argentina greatly resembles that of the European lowcost. Photo: b732 / Aeropuertosarg.com.ar

the end of the month
May, PLUNA deprogrammed one of its Bombardier CRJ900 NextGen (more specifically, the CX-CRG), to change its name to "AeroVip" and Reissues with Argentine record, according to DNA: LV-BYW.
PLUNA
's gamble with your group Gerenciador Leadgate, is based on Airport to make a direct connection to Montevideo for domestic flights and avoid the (annoying) change of airport to which passengers are subjected Aerolineas Argentinas and LAN Argentina. With this scheme, PLUNA / AeroVip bid to increase passenger flow through the Hub of the South, Leadgate has tried to form in Montevideo.
