Nothing can excuse the amount of delay that there was (and still are) in Aerolineas Argentinas flights this week. This week, the delay came at high levels not seen since the era Marsans, when the company had a punctuality rate of 31%, according to Radio Mitre that gave the brand new General Manager of the company, Mariano Recalde.

After taking the position Recalde gave estimates that the Business Plan was being developed at the offices of airlines, to present to Congress, would reverse losses in the medium term, more or less in 5 years.

However, those who claim to have true control in the company are the two largest unions - APLA (Association of Airline Pilots), which responds to Jorge Perez Tamayo, and APTA (Association of Aeronautical Technical Staff ), which responds to former Undersecretary of Commercial Air Transport, Ricardo Cirielli. Mariano Recalde's arrival to the management of Aerolineas Argentinas alarms turned the heads of the latter group.

Héctor Recalde, Mariano's father, is the attorney for the General Confederation of Labour. His son, also was Guild adviser Aerolineas Argentinas pilots for a long time. It is for this reason that the union of Aeronautical taenicide went on high alert when it was revealed the appointment. Fear, said in APTA, is that Recalde (son) is "pro-APLA ", given its link, will "leave out" of any important negotiation within the enterprise.

After all, living trying to prove they have the power. This week, the backlog reached unbelievable levels. Yesterday, the newspaper Clarin published an article which denote the delays had on flights (especially) international Aerolineas Argentinas. Article aware of delays in flight AR1302 (to Miami), AR1182 (Sydney) and AR1254 (Rio de Janeiro). All delayed for technical reasons .

Meanwhile, on-time passengers are suffering and protest. The AADeTUR produced a report which says that within 15 (fifteen) days of the month of June " Aerolineas Argentinas and Austral, achieved a punctuality rate of 41.88% " He also emphasizes that " l a state company had reached in the first hundred days a year, a rate of 77.20% punctuality. "

wondered why, if punctuality had risen so much in these days was disastrous. It had something to do with the appointment of someone so close to the CGT as CEO? Might have had to do with the limited fleet Airlines long haul? A new union bid? What is certain is that airlines remains the airline's most unstable region, a title that continues depraved travelers, something that needs to survive.
