Rural Development Association Cuenca Minera (ADR) contracts awarded in Nerva eligible for the 14 new projects approved in its latest Regional Council, with an investment of two million euros , which permit the maintenance of several local businesses and the creation of a dozen jobs. These projects include the implementation Zalamea la Real in a small game preserve intensive farmed animal , acquisition of new equipment for a beauty center in Rio Tinto mines and the modernization and maintenance of various farm agricultural and livestock located in different towns in the area.
This type of grants have also had access to various associations of the region that have developed different projects culturale s, as the group of Friends of Heritage and Cistus JARA of Zalamea la Real or band and society Cultural Center, both of Nerva. So far, the Cuenca Minera ADR has provided support to nearly a hundred developers in the amount of 4,345,000 Euros from a total of nearly 5 million allocated to the first bi-annual Leader-A program for the 2008-2013 framework, as in launched by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Andalusian European funds.
